Named merchandise is fun and personal but very hard to resell on the collector market. But I think I’ve found the one exception.

These Walt Disney World Pedestal You & Me Mugs are the perfect alternative if you just can’t find your name:

Although my first name is not that unusual (Lee) it does seem to be one that is never found in these merchandise lines! So when I found these mugs with ‘YOU’ and ‘ME’ on them, it felt like they had been made for people like me: People who are destined never to have a keychain, bag tag, or mug personally monogrammed. I hope you can understand our pain!

My only grump about these mugs is that they should have reversed the handle position on the ‘YOU’ mug so that the handles would be facing away from each other when displayed together.

The logo is the famous Castle motif used so much in early Walt Disney World merchandise. Disney slapped this pic on everything! Note the ‘D’ globe logo in the name as well. This would date these mugs likely from the 1970s or the very early 80s. The Walt Disney Productions trademark makes them pre-1987 at the very least.

The mugs are pretty plain other than the style, with no other markings to be found.
